Job summary

Metric Geo in Singapore is seeking an Electronics Engineer with strong analogue electronics experience to design, build and test electronics and optical hardware for quantum communications. You will work closely with scientists and engineers across the development lifecycle from R&D through to working prototypes.

This role focuses on developing QKD and related hardware, PCB design for high-speed signals, and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering with 5+ years' experience.
• Master's degree with 2+ years' experience also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and test electronics for quantum communication systems.
• Develop and modify analogue and digital electronic circuits.
• Work with optical and optoelectronic components and systems.
• Design and test PCB assemblies, including high-speed signal considerations.
• Support hardware from R&D through to prototype systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and scientific teams.
• Produce technical documentation and maintain quality control.
• Present technical work internally and to customers or partners when required.
• Support commercial and research proposals where appropriate.
