Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Construction – Building Materials

  • Position Title: Quantity Surveyor

  • Working Location: Kaki Bukit

  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday-Friday: 9:00AM - 6:00PM)

  • Salary Package: Up to $4000 + AWS

  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of tender documentation.

  • Analyze architectural, structural, and detailed drawings to accurately quantify items.

  • Collaborate with tender team, designers, and QA/QC for base cost calculations.

  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal quotations.

  • Create detailed tender cost worksheets and present Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for internal review.

  • Lead project kick-off meetings to outline work scope and material specifications.

  • Monitor project costs, report discrepancies, and manage progress claims and site meetings.

  • Maintain records of drawings, claims, and payments.

  • Ensure supplier and subcontractor compliance with project schedules and ISO 9001 standards.

  • Adhere to safety, health, and environmental regulations on site and during factory visits.

  • Attend and represent the company in all required external meetings and audits.

  • Other ad-hoc duties which may be assigned.
