Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage tendering, cost estimation, and contract administration for metal/aluminum projects. You will coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure timely, accurate claims and documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Building or Quantity Surveying with at least 3 years’ experience in metal/aluminum windows, doors, and glazing works.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Building or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the metal/aluminum construction industry.
• Experience in metal works / aluminum windows, doors, and glazing works.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability to perform project quantity surveying functions independently.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork skills with responsibility and attention to detail.
• Availability to work 5.5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project tender documents and contracts to support bidding processes.
• Source suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and favorable terms.
• Perform cost estimation and quantity take-offs for metal, aluminum, and glazing works during tender and construction phases.
• Verify claims and prepare monthly progress and variation claims accurately and timely.
• Liaise effectively with vendors, site personnel, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve project matters.
• Manage project documentation and communication to ensure smooth workflow.
• Adapt to additional duties assigned by immediate supervisor with flexibility and accountability.
