QUANTITY SURVEYOR MANAGER (MEP) located in Penang

Job Descriptions:

1. Supervise and manage a team of QS personnel.

2. Understanding of MEP System for design concept documents and drawings. Priority Only with MEP System experienced.

3. Prepare and workout Bill of Quantities, Cost Estimation, Tender Submission, Cost Control Budget, etc.

4. Generate Scope of Work (SOW) for proposal and/or contract works costing.

5. Prepare Tender & Proposal Presentation.

6. Assist and/or attend to all relevant contracts administration & documentation during Tender & Project Stage.

7. Liase with vendors for quotations, proposal during Tender & Project Stage.

8. Prepare vendors final quotation & selection.

9. Assess and identify variation order (VO) work for each project.

10. Liaise with Consultants / Main Contractors on progress claims, VO, etc.

11. Liaise with Project Team for sub-Contractors progress claim, VO claim, etc & prepare Payment Certificate.

12. Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned.

13. Ability to understand the terms and contract requirements.

14. Well organized in documentation.

15. Good interpersonal and communication skills - English, Malay and/or Mandarin.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Minimum).

2. Experience in Building ACMV / HVAC System.

3. Familiar with Government Codes and Regulations.

4. Preferably experienced in the role of Quantity and Quality Surveyor.

5. Be independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and deliver in a timely basis.

6. Good Team Player and Management Skills.

7. Keen learner and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
