Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and driven Quantity Surveyor with experience in interior fit-out and/or electrical works for office building projects. You will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction and electrical installations, ensuring value for money while meeting high quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and tender submissions for interior and electrical works.

  • Evaluate and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Monitor project budgets and perform cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct site measurements, valuation of work done, and prepare progress claims and variation orders.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure clarity on scope and budget compliance.

  • Assist in contract administration and final account preparation.

Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out and/or electrical projects, preferably in commercial office buildings.

  • Strong knowledge of tendering procedures, BQ preparation, and contract management.

  • Familiar with local construction regulations and pricing norms.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX or similar).
