Job summary

FEYANG CONSTRUCTION & TRADING PTE LTD is seeking a quantity surveyor to support project costing, tendering, and procurement tasks in Singapore. You will review plans, prepare quantities, and help with VO, progress claims, and final accounts.

The ideal candidate holds a Quantity Surveying degree (or equivalent), is open to fresh graduates, and can use AutoCAD, Excel, and Word. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential for success on assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent; open to fresh graduates.
• Basic understanding of costing, contracts and procurement processes.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural plans and prepare Bill of Quantity.
• Estimate quantity and costs based on drawings/details.
• Review/prep tender documents for submissions.
• Assist in preparing Variation Orders (VO), progress claims, final accounts and other submissions.
• Source quotations, perform cost comparisons and assist procurement.
• Maintain cost records, contract documents and project databases.
• Track material quantities, project costs and verify subcontractor/supplier claims.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review architectural plans and prepare Bill of Quantity


• Estimate quantity and costs of project based on drawing and details given by the client


• Review / prepare tender documents for submissions


• Assist in preparing Variation Orders (VO), progress claims, final accounts and other commercial submissions.


• Source quotations, perform cost comparisons, and assist in procurement processes.


• Maintain cost records, contract documents, quotation trackers and project commercial databases.


• Track material quantities, project costs, and verify claims from subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, Min Diploma in Building / Construction or Quantity Surveying


• Open to fresh graduates; candidates with relevant experience are advantageous


• Able to use AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word


• Basic understanding of construction costing, contracts, and procurement processes


• Good communication skills


• Independent & responsible for the construction project assigned


• Resourceful & maintain good relationship with sub-contractors
