HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented M&E Quantity Surveyor Engineer in Singapore to support project cost management across industrial, commercial and data centre builds.

You will handle cost estimation, tender evaluation, contract administration and budget monitoring to ensure cost control throughout the lifecycle. The role requires a degree or diploma in QS or related field, at least 3 years in relevant projects, and strong analytical, numerical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree, Diploma, Specialist Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in industrial, commercial or data centre projects.
• Proficient in cost estimation, quantity take-offs and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of tendering, contract administration and variation management.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for M&E works, including electrical systems.
• Develop and monitor project budgets to ensure cost control.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate quotations, and recommend bids.
• Review M&E drawings and specs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage contracts, variations, change orders, and progress payment valuations.
• Conduct site measurements to verify quantities and costs.
• Identify potential cost risks and suggest mitigations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants and contractors.
• Prepare cost reports, budget forecasts and financial updates.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, tender evaluation, contract administration, and budget monitoring to ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for M&E works, including electrical systems.
• Develop and monitor project budgets to ensure effective cost control.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate quotations, and recommend suitable bids.
• Review M&E drawings and specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage contracts, variations, change orders, and progress payment valuations.
• Conduct site measurements to verify work quantities and assess project costs.
• Identify potential cost risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Prepare cost reports, budget forecasts, and financial updates.

Requirements

• Degree, Diploma, Specialist Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, M&E Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience, preferably in industrial, commercial, or data centre projects.
• Proficient in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and cost control.
• Good understanding of tendering, contract administration, and variation management.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
