  • Position Title: Quantity Surveyor/ Contracts Executive
  • Working Location: Mandai Estate
  • Working Hours: 5 Days (Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 5:30PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus + Medical & Dental Benefits
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor project budgets and cost controls to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Oversee the full project cycle from contract award to completion, including preparation of final accounts.
  • Prepare procurement lists and schedules in line with architectural specifications and project timelines.
  • Source, liaise, and obtain quotations from subcontractors; evaluate submissions and draft subcontract documents as required.
  • Record and track defects, maintain proper documentation for all variation orders (VO), and ensure timely submission of VO costs (daily/weekly).
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager on monthly progress claims and final account closing.
  • Evaluate subcontractors' VO claims and ensure all variations follow proper procedures.
  • Follow up on payment certificates for subcontractors and issue payment advice to clients promptly.
  • Handle progress claims, payments, variation orders, and project finalization.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and good knowledge of local standards and requirements.
