The Opportunity

  • Permanent role with a well-established local contractor
  • Working location : Central
  • Working days: Monday - Friday (9am-6pm)
  • Salary up to $5000

They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal individual should be keen to gain hands-on experience in construction cost analysis, tender preparation, and contract evaluation, supporting the company’s ongoing and future projects. The Job

  • Prepare, negotiate, and analyze tender and contract costs
  • Coordinate with project teams to monitor work effort and legal/contractual compliance
  • Value completed work and manage payment arrangements
  • Assist designers in reviewing construction plans and determining quantity requirements
  • Analyze maintenance and additional building costs and negotiate with contractors
  • Maintain proper documentation and manage all tenders
  • Source, evaluate, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
