Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. invites qualified Quantity Surveyors to join our civil engineering team on a 1.5-year contract based in Singapore.

You will handle cost and contractual issues across sub-contracts for ongoing projects, ensuring accurate take-offs, cost control, and timely recommendations to management. The role requires at least 3 years of relevant civil engineering experience, with tertiary education in Quantity Surveying, and a hands-on approach to procurement, payments, and variation

• Amount of experience: minimum 3 years related in civil engineering or similar role

Responsibilities

• Procurement activities, quantities take-off, and cost comparisons for sub-contract awards.
• Manage sub-contracts after award, including payment and variation evaluations.
• Prepare cost estimates and evaluations as required.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for all cost and contractual issues on Sub-contracts for the
project, e.g.:-

• Procurement including quantities take-off, compilation of relevantspecifications and requirements, forming of work matrix, obtainingquotations, preparing cost comparison and put forward recommendation tothe management for the award of the sub-contract.
• Managing the sub-contract subsequent to the sub-contract award including payment, evaluation of variations, etc.
• Carry out other cost estimates and evaluations as required.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirement

• Educational Level and the field of study: Tertiary Education in Quantity Surveying
• Amount of experience: minimum 3 years related in civil engineering or similar role
• This is a contract position for 1.5 years. Candidates must be willing to commit to the 1.5 years contract period.
