Job summary
A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to assist in tender preparation and contract administration for secured projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying and at least 2-3 years of experience in M&E Quantity Surveying. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and measurement software is required. This role involves liaising with clients and managing progress payments.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or other related disciplines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Words, Excels.
- Proficient in PDF measurement or any other measurement software will be added advantages.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in M&E Quantity Surveying.
Responsibilities
- Assists in tender preparation, analysis and evaluation.
- Prepares tender bid for Management’s approval.
- Contract administration of secured projects.
- Responsible to prepare documentation from shortlisting to award of sub contracts.
- Preparation and submission of progress claims to clients.
- Evaluate and prepare progress payments to subcontractors.

- Responsible to prepare necessary documentations from shortlisting to award of sub contracts, process include evaluation, comparison and recommendation.
- Preparation and submission of progress claims to clients.
- Evaluate and prepare progress payments to subcontractors / suppliers / service providers.
- Liaison with client or consultant’s Quantity Surveyors.
- Maintain constant liaison with project staffs especially Project Director.
- Monitor records and manage all variation orders.
- Provide necessary documentations for preparation of final accounts with the client / subcontractors / suppliers / service providers.
- Always ensure confidentiality and safe guards of controlled documents.
- Possess the ability to negotiate with client’s Quantity Surveyors during final accounts and or as and when any variation order arises.
