Job summary

A leading company in the construction industry is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, liaise with suppliers, and oversee contract administration. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in building construction, particularly in precast or as an A1 Main contractor. This role is essential for ensuring the financial success of projects through meticulous documentation and claims management.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience with building construction.
• Preferred experience in full QS role in precast / A1 Main-con.

• Responsible for quantity take-off and cost estimation for quotation/tender and on-going projects.
• Liaise with suppliers/Sub-contractors and source for competitive quotation.
• Submission of monthly progress claim & variation order.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for quantity take-off and cost estimation for quotation/tender and on-going projects with specific deadline.
• Liaise with suppliers /Sub-contractors and source for competitive quotation.
• Submission of monthly progress claim & variation order (VO).
• Evaluation of sub-contractors’ progress claim & variation order.
• Final account settlement with sub-contractors and clients.
• Contract documents administration.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of working experience with building construction.
• Preferred experience in full QS role in precast / A1 Main-con.
• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering / Building / Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office.
