FOONG AH WENG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 3+ years in construction. You will handle tender evaluation, take-offs, progress claims, and subcontractor payments. Strong administration and familiarity with ISO QMS are preferred.

The role requires a degree in QS or Civil Eng and hands-on experience in tendering and cost management on projects. Singapore-based, full-time position with responsibilities across measurement and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field.

Responsabilités

• Familiar with tender evaluation, preparation of tender and quotation.
• Take-off measurement and monthly progress claims.
• Carry out quantity take-offs for tendering of projects.
• Source for supplies and sub-contractors for quotations.
• Evaluate subcontractors' progress payments and certifications.
• Handle project administration and documentation incl. interim reports.
• Support ISO Quality Management System; handle related tasks.
• Assess cost impact of design variations for the Project Manager.
• Perform other QS duties as assigned.
• Award scope to subcontractors and verify claims and VO.

Responsibilities :

• Familiar with evaluation of tender, preparation of tender & quotation


• Responsible for taking off measurement & monthly progress claim


• Carry out Quantity take-off for tendering of projects


• Ability to source for supplies and sub-contractors for quotation for tendering


• Evaluation and certificate of sub-contractors progress payments


• Project administration and documentation include preparation of interim


• Carry out miscellaneous tasks required as part of the ISO Quality Management System


• Review and advise the Project Manager on the cost impact of variation of project specification


• Other quantity surveyor duties as assigned


• Award scope to Subcon, and verify their claims and VO


• Familiarization with R&R is a bonus

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or Civil Engineering or equivalent.


• At least 3 Years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
