Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on marine, offshore, LNG, and EPC projects. You will prepare BOQs, review subcontractor quotations, manage budgets, and ensure timely cost reporting. The role requires at least 8 years in QS roles within relevant industries, strong Excel skills, and proven experience in contracts, claims, and final accounts.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of Quantity Surveying experience within Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas, LNG, FLNG, FPSO, FSO, Shipyard, or EPC project environments.
  • Proven experience in Bills of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control.
  • Strong experience in subcontract administration, variation orders, claims management, contract administration, and final account settlement.
  • Experience supporting fabrication, modularization, offshore topsides, vessel conversion, brownfield modifications, or marine construction projects.
  • Experience working on FLNG, FPSO, LNG, offshore platform, rig conversion, vessel upgrade, shipbuilding, or major EPC projects.
  • Understanding of project commercial management, cost forecasting, progress valuation, and monthly cost reporting.
  • Ability to review and evaluate subcontractor quotations, claims, payment applications, and change orders.
  • Experience working with shipyards, offshore contractors, EPC contractors, vessel owners, or energy operators.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple stakeholders
