Job summary

PRECISE DEVELOPMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Contracts/Quantity Surveying professional to prepare and vet tender documents, draft contracts, and support procurement strategies for construction and warehouse projects.

The role involves evaluating contractor submissions, handling variation orders and disputes, and assisting the Contracts Manager with interim progress claims, cost control, and progress reports, with a preference for experience in HDB BTO or warehouse projects.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• About 1–5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Experience in HDB BTO/Warehouse projects will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and vet tender documents including drafting contracts and specification clauses.
• Evaluate submissions and advise on contract administration matters such as variations, extensions of time, loss and expenses, final accounts and disputes.
• Assist Contracts Manager in interim progress claims, progress reports and variation orders.
• Ensure compliance with tendering and procurement procedures.
• Assist in recommending and implementing innovative procurement strategies and best practices.
• Assist in project cost control and objective preparation.
• Draft project correspondences pertaining to site issues.

Job description

• Prepare and vet tender documents which include drafting contracts/specification clauses, evaluating and providing recommendations for tenders and awarding construction and procurement sub-contracts.
• Evaluate submissions and preparation on contract administration matters such as assessing contractor’s claims for variation works, extension of time, loss and expenses, final account and handling of contractual disputes.
• Assist Contracts Manager in contractual and costing matters such main contract interim progress claims, progress report, variation order and etc..
• Ensure compliance with appropriate tending and procurement procedures
• Assist in recommending and implementing innovative solutions and best practices on procurement and contract strategy and related functions.
• Assist in project cost control and objective preparation
• Drafting of projects correspondences pertaining to site issues

Job Requirements:

• Possess Post Graduate Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• About 1-5 years of working experience in the related field
• Experience in HDB BTO/ Warehouse Projects will be preference
