Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a Gas Distribution Pipeline project. Job Description:

• Coordinate and assist in purchasing of all construction materials.
• Carry out site measurements and submission of progress payment claim.
• Identify and submission of claim for variation works order.
• Liaise with consultants and clients on progress claim, VO and finalization of accounts.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements at all times and monitor project expenditure.
• Review and advise Project Manager on the cost impact for variation of project specifications.
• Resolve issues related to contractual and costing matters.
• Familiarize with project specifications and interpretation of all construction drawings.
• Other ad-hoc related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
• At least 1 years’ relevant experience.
• Singaporean / PR only
• Excellent problem-solving skills, good team player and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently
• Mature with good interpersonal and communication skills.
