We are seeking an ambitious and self-driven Quant Trader to establish and manage their own trading desk. This role is ideal for algorithmic traders, but experienced traders without coding skills will also be considered. You must have your own trading strategies

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage your own trading desk, taking full ownership of your strategies and P&L
• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance Alpha-seeking trading strategies
• Conduct market research to uncover new alpha opportunities
• Test and optimize trading models and algorithms to enhance performance
• Stay on top of market trends and macroeconomic developments that affect your trading strategies
• Implement robust risk management techniques to ensure alignment of strategies with the company's risk tolerance and market conditions
• Collaborate closely with quant researchers, engineers, and traders ensure proper execution as well as to optimize and scale strategies

What We’re Looking For

• A diploma, BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Quantitative Finance is preferred, but all majors are welcome.
• Minimum 2 years of experience trading one or more asset classes, including Equities, Options, Futures, Forex, or Crypto.
• Familiarity with markets such as the US, KRX, JPX, Australia, China, and cryptocurrencies.
• Preferably 3+ years of experience in the financial industry.
• Strong Proficiency in major programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or Matlab
• Strong skills in quantitative analysis and model development.
• Ability to implement complex trading algorithms
• Ability to adapt to fast-changing markets and adjust to trading strategies as the market changes
• A self-motivated mindset with a strong problem-solving attitude.
• Proven trading track record.
• Broad understanding of macroeconomic drivers in financial markets.
• Passion for algorithmic and high-frequency trading (HFT).
