We’re looking to add a Trader to our team in Singapore or Dubai with focus on EFP trading, equity financing trading structures and inventory optimization. This role sits within a fast-growing central function that oversees and supports global strategies, providing exposure to trading across multiple asset classes.

Responsibilities

  • Actively monitor and trade EFP opportunities across Asian markets, accounting for the unique characteristics and nuances of each country
  • Identify and evaluate carry trade opportunities to enhance portfolio returns
  • Collaborate with quant teams, banks, and operations to design and refine trading setups and streamline processes
  • Implement optimization strategies at the firm level, including corporate action elections and capital reduction
  • Enhance trading tools to ensure scalability and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Finance, quantitative or related field
  • 2-3 years of trading experience or knowledge of equity delta one, ideally across several Asia emerging markets and the MSCI complex
  • Familiarity with programming language such as VBA or Python
  • Detail focused and ability to work with Technology and Quants to build sustainable systems
  • Methodical: Able to prioritize and execute critical tasks under pressure
