Anson McCade is recruiting a Quantitative Researcher for an early-stage technology company operating at the intersection of AI, ML and financial markets in Singapore. You will explore machine learning, statistics and large-scale data to build predictive models.
The role offers significant ownership, with work spanning research to implementation across ML, sequence modelling and time-series analysis. Candidates from finance or non-financial backgrounds are welcome; relocation to Singapore is
We are working with a newly established technology company building at the intersection of artificial intelligence, quantitative research and financial markets.
The team is building a next generation research and technology platform from the ground up, combining modern machine learning techniques with classical statistical approaches to solve complex prediction problems across large scale datasets.
They are looking to hire exceptional researchers in Singapore and are open to candidates coming from both financial and non financial backgrounds. They are also open to exceptional candidates in the UK or US. However, Singapore/relocation remains the preference.
This is an early stage environment where researchers will have significant ownership over the problems they work on and the systems they help build.
You will work across areas including machine learning, statistical modelling, sequence prediction and large scale data analysis, taking ideas from initial research through to implementation.
The team is particularly interested in candidates from:
Candidates do not need prior financial markets experience. The team is equally interested in exceptional researchers who have developed their expertise in other highly technical environments.
Experience with deep learning, sequence modelling, reinforcement learning, time series modelling or large scale model training would be particularly relevant.
This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and work alongside a small, highly technical team building a platform from the ground up.
