Job summary

National University of Singapore's Dean-Med-Centre for Holistic Initiatives for Learning and Development at Kent Ridge Campus invites applications for a full-time Research Fellow to contribute to Language, Literacy & Child Development projects.

The role focuses on data management, analysis, manuscript preparation, grant reporting, and research administration, with emphasis on bilingualism, literacy and developmental neuroscience.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline is required.
• Strong quantitative skills with data cleaning and management experience.
• Proficiency in R and/or SPSS, with tidyverse workflows preferred.
• Good understanding of research design, statistical modelling, and interpretation of findings.
• Excellent writing, documentation, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ongoing research activities and project timelines with PIs and team members.
• Oversee data import, cleaning, harmonisation, and documentation; maintain data dictionaries.
• Develop validation checks and ensure reproducibility of datasets and analyses.
• Perform descriptive and inferential analyses using R and/or SPSS.
• Prepare APA-style tables, figures, and analysis summaries for reports and manuscripts.
• Assist with study documentation, SOPs, READMEs, and grant reporting.
