Job description

My Client:

My client is a pioneer crypto-native proprietary trading firm that designs and builds its own high-performance infrastructure to execute algorithmic strategies across global digital asset markets. As they expand into more complex and latency-sensitive trading environments—including both centralized exchanges and on-chain protocols—the team is now looking for a Senior Engineer to help scale and optimize the systems that power their core operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput trading infrastructure across centralized and on-chain markets.
  • Build robust exchange connectivity and smart contract integration to ensure seamless access and execution.
  • Develop real-time market data pipelines and order management systems.
  • Continuously optimize system performance through profiling, tuning, and architecture improvements.
  • Collaborate with the trading team to translate trading logic into scalable, production-ready systems.
  • Support system reliability and uptime in latency-sensitive, high-pressure trading environments.

Job Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience building low-latency or high-frequency trading systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Rust, TypeScript, and Python; C++ is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of crypto market mechanics, blockchain fundamentals, and DeFi protocols.
  • Hands-on experience integrating with exchange APIs and on-chain smart contracts.
  • Solid grasp of system performance tuning, profiling, and debugging tools.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and ability to thrive in fast-moving trading environments.
