Position: Quality Technician; Permanent Role
Venue: Changi
Working Hours: Monday-Friday Office working hours
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine in-process quality inspection
- Conduct line audits to ensure adherence to quality procedures and SOPs
- Support production regarding quality specification requirements
- Responsible for engineering inspection and data compilation
- Provide feedback on process or product deviations for continuous improvement
- Disseminate and update compliance information
- Train and guide new team members to attain work competencies
- Maintain and troubleshoot measuring equipment (e.g., Nikon, Condor)
- Compile quality records, checklists, and perform data entry (SPC) timely
- Provide timely feedback and rectify discrepancies related to operators, processes, or products
- Manage non-conformities by ensuring NC materials are identified and segregated
- Facilitate root cause analysis (4M1E) for process or quality issues
- Contribute ideas for work and process improvements
- Maintain good housekeeping standards
- Ensure proper segregation of wastes
- Help conserve energy and resources
- Perform other duties as assigned by superiors
- Comply with all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / NITEC in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics) or equivalent
- Willing to work in a clean room environment
- Proficient in generating reports using Microsoft Excel and Word
