Job description

The client is a global leader in microconnectors and smart card components, providing secure, high-volume solutions for identification, access, and payments across industries such as telecom, healthcare, and finance.

Position: Quality Technician; Permanent Role

Venue: Changi

Working Hours: Monday-Friday Office working hours

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine in-process quality inspection
  2. Conduct line audits to ensure adherence to quality procedures and SOPs
  3. Support production regarding quality specification requirements
  4. Responsible for engineering inspection and data compilation
  5. Provide feedback on process or product deviations for continuous improvement
  6. Disseminate and update compliance information
  7. Train and guide new team members to attain work competencies
  8. Maintain and troubleshoot measuring equipment (e.g., Nikon, Condor)
  9. Compile quality records, checklists, and perform data entry (SPC) timely
  10. Provide timely feedback and rectify discrepancies related to operators, processes, or products
  11. Manage non-conformities by ensuring NC materials are identified and segregated
  12. Facilitate root cause analysis (4M1E) for process or quality issues
  13. Contribute ideas for work and process improvements
  14. Maintain good housekeeping standards
  15. Ensure proper segregation of wastes
  16. Help conserve energy and resources
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors
  18. Comply with all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security policies and procedures
