QUALITY SPECIALIST - LOGISTICS / WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS

We are hiring a Quality Specialist on behalf of our client, GXO, a global logistics and supply chain organisation.
This is a hands-on quality role suitable for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, inspection or a related operational environment.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day quality inspections, identify non-conformance issues and work closely with the operations team to ensure products, materials and processes meet the required quality and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct inspections, testing and sampling of materials, parts and products to identify defects or deviations from specifications
- Monitor operational and production processes to ensure compliance with required quality standards
- Identify quality issues and communicate inspection findings to the relevant operations teams
- Support corrective actions and follow up on quality-related issues
- Identify, segregate and reject products or materials that do not meet required specifications
- Carry out NCR (Non-Conformance Report) data collection, including photo documentation and supporting records
- Maintain accurate quality inspection records, reports and logs
- Track quality metrics such as defects, rework, rejected products and wastage
- Input and maintain quality-related information in the relevant database or system
- Review operational procedures and processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements
- Work closely with internal teams to support continuous improvement and maintain quality standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum ITE / NITEC qualification or equivalent
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, inspection, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse or a related environment
- Comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment
- Able to identify defects and follow established quality procedures
- Detail-oriented with good documentation and record-keeping skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good communication skills and able to work effectively with operations teams
