Global Business Services

Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations, operating as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation, and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview

Change Management & Project Delivery collaborates with various lines of business, operations, technology, and compliance partners on initiatives that enhance Merrill Wealth Management and Private Bank onboarding, maintenance, transactional processes, ensuring they are optimal and compliant. The team coordinates business requirements, test plans/user acceptance testing, defect reporting, production support, communications, and education as applicable.

COBE UAT Team

The team partners with the Lines of Business to determine new functionality needs and prioritize technical changes aligned with the Roadmap. Responsibilities include preparing test cases, conducting end-user testing, defect identification, and providing post-production validation support during release weekends.

Job Responsibilities
  • Understand stakeholder expectations and objectives as a self-motivated individual contributor.
  • Work from design documents, stories, and related requirements to develop and deliver software features and subsystems.
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing activities with good troubleshooting skills.
  • Set up software testing lifecycle in SDLC.
  • Design and execute test cases across different testing lifecycle stages.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and review sessions.
  • Communicate effectively and document testing activities thoroughly.
Requirements
  • Education: BE / B-Tech, M.E./M.Tech (preferably IT/CS specialization).
  • Certifications: ISTQB CTFL (preferred).
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years.
  • Knowledge of test management tools like ALM, JIRA.
  • Experience in test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Understanding of risk assessment, testing methodologies, and techniques.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
