Quality Engineering Assistant
Job Scope :
- Facilitate sample analysis of returned products from customers to identify causes of field failure and customer dissatisfaction.
- Coordinate technical analysis by cross-functional teams and communicate findings to customers.
- Support Quality Engineers in product launch and line sustaining activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational quality issues.
- Monitor SPC trends, analyze key performance indicators, suggest improvements, and escalate as necessary.
- Prepare FTQ and scrap reports.
- Drive and communicate CAPA for 8D reports internally and externally.
- Support Quality Improvement projects.
- Assist in PPAP submissions.
- Support Q-Plan development and planning.
- Assist in internal and external audits (ISO/IATF 16949, customer audits).
- Help plan, execute, and monitor external audit programs, liaising with Certification Bodies.
- Assist in internal audit programs, including process, product, ESD, and layered process audits.
- Support follow-up and tracking of corrective actions from audit programs.
- Prepare Management Review documents, including risk analysis/assessment.
- Maintain quality system documents and records according to procedures.
- Update quality reports on scheduled weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Serve as system administrator for the Calibration Management System of CPMS, liaising with developers when needed.
- Support continual improvement of Quality and Information Security Management Systems.
- Qualifications: Diploma in Engineering, 2-5 years of relevant experience, 5-day work week, normal working hours.
Position : Manufacturing Engineering Assistant
- Provide engineering support for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment.
- Improve and upgrade hardware and software of production equipment.
- Identify and rectify process problems to improve quality and reduce scrap.
- Control and update spare parts inventory.
- Assist in installation and qualification of new processes and equipment.
- Support start-up of new programs/models.
- Minimize machine downtime and scrap materials/products.
- Maintain correct spare parts inventory and ensure product quality.
- Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and support teams.
- Qualifications: Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 2-5 years manufacturing experience, experience with manufacturing processes and molding, good problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, willing to perform 3-shift rotations and overtime.
