Quality Manager - Furniture Manufacturing Company
- Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Conduct in-process inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Quality Audits: Perform regular audits to assess the effectiveness of quality processes and identify improvement areas.
- Material and Component Quality: Review and verify materials and components meet quality specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality data.
- Data Analysis: Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct process and product audits to ensure adherence to standards and customer expectations.
- Non-Conformity Management: Handle non-conforming products, decide on rejection, rework, or repair, and implement corrective actions.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze feedback to improve product quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop training programs, identify process improvements, and implement waste reduction strategies.
- Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean principles to streamline processes and reduce waste.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with engineering, production, sales, and suppliers to ensure quality integration.
- Other Responsibilities: Develop quality control processes, ensure compliance with standards, and resolve quality issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- Relevant experience in furniture industry is highly valued.
- Knowledge of quality control methods, SPC, and QMS.
- Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools.
- Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
