Job description

Our laboratory is looking for a candidate who is experience in quality assurance in a calibration laboratory in field of test & measurement as per ISO17025.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Ensure quality assurance of day-to-day operation of 4 laboratory while ensuring compliance to ISO17025:2017.
• Answer to customer question related to quality of their calibration report.
• Work together with sales team to ensure vetting of enquiry of calibration work perform is within scope of accreditation.
• Monitor of laboratory references are within specification, proper maintenance of references is carried out, verification of references is performed. Traceability is ensured.
• Ensure calibration work are carried out as per written laboratory procedures.
• To attend to & handle customer complaints
• To assist in reviewing external service provider & supplier & review their criteria.
• To plan & carry out or participate in inter-laboratory comparison & proficiency testing.
• To rectify & monitor lapse in management system.
• To assist in internal & external audits.
• Continuous improvement, Implementation & maintenance of Laboratory/work procedures/methods & documentation.
• Keep up to date with international standards used in our procedure.
• To communicate with customer when the instrument is observed to be out-of-specification
• To communicate the importance of meeting customer as well as statutory and regulatory requirements within the organization.
• To ensure that the integrity of the management system is maintained during changes to the management system as planned and implemented.
• To ensure proper documentation & SOP are kept up to date.
• To initiate & carry out corrective action when a non-conformance is detected & review its effective.
• Attend to customer site/premises visit & assist in ad hoc onsite services or calibration duties.
• Organize & assist in management review.
• Perform data analysis to resolve quality issues.

Requirement

1. A degree in engineering or science.
2. A 7-year experience in ISO17025 laboratory management system & ISO9001 management system.
3. A 7-year experience working calibration laboratory & have various understanding of calibration procedures in field of dimensional, temperature, electrical, mechanical & pressure.
4. Knowledge in measurement uncertainty (GUM), capable of implementing & evaluating measurement uncertainties budget table, ILAC-G8:09/2019 – Decision Rules & Statement of conformity.
5. Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
6. Able to work independently with strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, and a good eye for detail is essential
7. Good oral and written communication skills.
