Qualifications

• Apply knowledge of drawings, welding and dimensional inspection to perform inspections.
• 1–3 years of Oil & Gas sector experience.
• ITE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, QA/QC or related discipline.

• Inspect materials, piping, components against drawings and ITP requirements.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify product integrity.
• Verify material traceability and maintain inspection records for audit and quality control.
• Identify defects and NCRs, collaborating with QA/QC and production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports and ensure compliance with Oil & Gas, quality, and HSE standards.

Job Summary

As a Quality Inspector (QI), you will conduct thorough inspections of materials and products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards, driving quality assurance and supporting corrective actions in Oil & Gas projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, piping, fabricated components, and finished products against drawings, specifications, and Inspection Test Plan (ITP) requirements to ensure quality compliance
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify product integrity and adherence to standards
• Verify material traceability and maintain accurate inspection records for audit and quality control purposes
• Identify defects and non-conformance reports (NCRs), collaborating with QA/QC and production teams to implement corrective actions promptly
• Maintain detailed inspection reports and ensure compliance with applicable Oil & Gas industry, quality, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Apply knowledge of engineering drawings, welding/fabrication processes, dimensional inspection techniques, and material traceability to perform inspections effectively
• Possess 1–3 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector to understand industry-specific quality requirements
• Hold an ITE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, QA/QC, or a related discipline to meet technical qualification standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with ASME, API, AWS, and ISO 9001 standards to enhance inspection accuracy and compliance
