We are looking for a QUALITY INSPECTOR (NDT) to work in Bukom for a one-year contract with a possible extension of another 6 months.
Assist the QA/QC Supervisor with the following responsibilities:
- Implement and execute quality assurance and control surveillance and inspections to ensure all fabrication, production, construction, and installations comply with project contracts, specifications, and codes and standards.
- Identify potential non-conformances and opportunities for improvement; issue Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and follow up for closeout.
- Perform surveillance, verification, inspection, and testing of AUT/NDT activities before, during, and after fabrication, production, construction, and installation, ensuring compliance with approved procedures and acceptance/rejection criteria.
- Witness and verify the correctness of NDT testing procedures, execution, and results evaluation according to ITP, procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
- Verify calibration and validity of AUT/NDT equipment.
- Ensure quality deliverables (Inspection & Testing Plans, procedures, training, certification, etc.) align with site work schedules for all construction activities.
- Conduct surveillances to ensure the successful implementation of QA activities and their deliverables.
Reporting Relationship
- Report to QA/QC Supervisor on site.
- Functionally report to the Quality Lead.
HSSE Assurance
- Participate in toolbox meetings regularly and proactively report or intervene in unsafe acts and conditions.
- Ensure the application of Quality Lessons Learned in the field.
Interface Management
- Coordinate quality surveillances and inspections with the EPCI Contractor to ensure work interfaces and quality issues are tracked and resolved promptly, safeguarding HSSE, quality, cost, and schedule.
Pre-requisites
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance surveillance and NDT testing.
- Possess ISO9712 / PCN / ACCP / ASNT NDT Level 2 certifications in PAUT, UT, and RT; PCN 3.4, CSWIP 3.2.2 or equivalent.
- Additional NDT qualifications in MT, PT, and welding inspection (ISO9712 / CSWIP 3.1.1, CWI or equivalent) are advantageous.
- Experience in conducting quality assurance audits and surveillance inspections.
- Ability to verify implementation of method statements, procedures, and ITP requirements.
