A leading company in the fire protection industry is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product quality through inspections while maintaining customer satisfaction. This role involves testing, data recording, and collaborating with the logistics team to optimize shipment schedules, alongside opportunities for product customization and support.
Job Summary:
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality through thorough inspections and adherence to standards. Your role plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction and strengthening the company’s reputation for reliability and excellence.
Responsibilities:
Carry out inspection testing on incoming products
Liaise with the logistics team to prioritize target item for shipment schedule
Record inspection result and data accordingly for monthly report
Collect logger data for monitoring purpose
Improve and rectify product defects
Support on product customization according to sales order
Firmware upgrading of module when necessary
Attend to monthly servicing job
Attend site support if needed
Other ad-hoc jobs assigned by Superior/Management.
Education/Experience/Skills requirements:
Diploma or degree in Engineering
2-3 years of working experience in related field.
Experience in fire protection industry is preferred
Hands-on experience with inspection and ELV system equipment
Basic computer literacy
Strong equipment inspection skills
Able to communicate in English to liaise with colleagues and customers from diverse backgrounds
Able to work independently and teamwork in multi-department organization.
