Job summary

SPENCER OGDEN PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA/Inspection professional for a 2-year renewable contract with Veolia Water Tech in Tampines.

Start ASAP; responsibilities include visual, hardness, thickness tests, PMI, data recording, and receiving items such as pumps, valves, tanks, skids; UPW/WWTP knowledge preferred. Qualifications

• Diploma / ITE - Mechanical Engineering.
• UPW, Oil & Gas industry background.
• CSWIP Welding Inspector certification.
• Experience in construction environments / on-site.
• 5+ years in Semicon/Electronics with UPW & WWTP knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication; communicates across styles.
• Positive, proactive attitude and strong ownership.

Responsibilities

• Perform Visual Test, Hardness Test, Thickness Test, PMI and data recording.
• Receive items on site (pumps, valves, pressure vessels, tanks, skids) and inspect quality.
• Manage pumps, valves, pressure vessels, tanks, skids; handle drawings & P&ID.
• Support batch record review and quality documents.
• Generate and maintain document submission lists and records.
• Review equipment/process logs; monitor requirements & specs.
• Work with Project/Construction/Commissioning, Supply Chain, Engineering teams.
• Provide QA/QC support to customers; prepare corrective actions and follow-up.
• Coordinate with clients and verification bodies for regulatory compliance.
• Report findings/non-conformances to Engineer/Manager promptly.

Job description

Location:Tampines
Working Hours:5 days + Weekend roster as scheduled by PM(compensated with OIL)
Duration:2 years renewable (but on contract it will be 1 year written)

Responsibilities:

• To perform Visual Test, Hardness Test, Thickness Test, Ferritic check, PMI, data recording, Qty and inspection, and measurement.
• To perform receive items on site, like pumps, valves, pressure vessels, tanks, skids and check on the condition and quality of these items
• Manage technical matters / items relating to pumps, valves, pressure vessels, tanks, skids including technical drawing & P&ID.
• Experience with batch record review, quality record support and ensuring that related Quality documents are updated
• Generate and maintain the document submittal list / records
• Understanding of equipment / process log review and continuous monitoring requirements & specification
• Work in a cross functional team with Project, Construction, Commissioning, Supply Chain, and Engineering Team as to ensure product quality and equipment supply
• Provide support to customers when any quality issues arise; helps to prepare corrective action and follow up on implementation and close out.
• Coordination with the clients for QA/QC related activities and other verification bodies for regulatory compliance
• Report & update all findings / non-conformance matters or related to Engineer / Manager in timely manner

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Diploma / ITE - Mechanical Engineering.
• UPW, Oil & Gas industry background.
• CSWIP Welding Inspector certification
• Have experience working under construction environment / site.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the Semicon/ Electronics with UPW& WWTP knowledge and experiences
• Good communication skills (writing and verbal communication/presentation)
