Job summary

YAMAZAKI MAZAK SINGAPORE PTE LTD seeks a QA/QC professional to produce monthly status reports, manage nonconformities, and collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering and Production to gather and validate documentation inputs.

They will ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, support internal and external audits, and help maintain quality documentation, SOPs, and control systems while driving continuous improvement through data analysis and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) incl. ISO 9001.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present findings to management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance document control systems, ensuring version control and proper archival of obsolete documents.
• Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement. Measure the impact of improvements and adjust strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in quality auditing, quality assurance, or similar roles within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), including ISO 9001.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and present findings to various levels of management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality training solutions tailored to the needs of machinery manufacturing.
• Familiarity with machining processes, CNC technologies, and machine tool operations is highly advantageous.
