Quality & Export Control Manager (Aircraft/ MRO)
Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all quality-related questions internally and externally.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a Quality Framework (Management System) compliant with AS9100, aviation authorities, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Assist operational teams in understanding and applying their applicable Management System.
  • Prepare for and support EN / ISO certification processes, aiming for certification in 2023.
  • Establish an audit plan and coordinate audits, with support from the Group interco Quality department if needed.
  • Respond to customer evaluation questionnaires to maintain the approved supplier base.

Regulations & Approvals

  • Support Field Support teams to meet regulatory requirements during operations, especially for SB/AD implementation at airlines.

Export Control Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable export regulations concerning sensitive technologies, war materials, sanctions, embargoes, and internal policies.
  • Assess risks and implement monitoring and corrective actions.
  • Identify the classification of procured and produced goods and technologies.
  • Maintain product classification records in the ERP system.
  • Assist with requests for information, authorizations, or export licenses from authorities.
  • Coordinate export control processes across business units.
  • Archive export control documents systematically.
  • Raise awareness, train staff, and communicate relevant export control information.
  • Monitor export operations for compliance with licenses and policies.
  • Report on export control activities and issues regularly.
  • Ensure all export-related commitments with partners are signed and compliant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in aerospace or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in auditing and about five years in quality management.
  • Good knowledge of EN / ISO standards.
  • Understanding of EASA Part 145 regulations.
  • Strong process management skills.
