An established industry player is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead for a 12-month contract role. Quality Engineering Lead (12 months contract)
Mon-Fri: 8.30am-5.30pm
Job Scope:
Test Planning & Execution: Estimate, plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities for the Quality Engineering (QE) team to ensure smooth project execution.
Resource & Training Management: Set up project testing resources on time and provide structured knowledge training based on existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Business-As-Usual (BAU) practices.
Compliance & Learning: Ensure all training and learning activities are completed in alignment with PACS' compliance requirements without delays.
Stakeholder & Timeline Management: Engage with stakeholders, define testing scope, and ensure test execution is completed within the project timeline.
Coaching & Mentoring: Guide project members in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), covering test scope, effort estimation, and ensuring all entry and exit criteria are met in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Defect & Risk Management: Identify, track, and manage defects, while proactively addressing risks that may impact project delivery.
Reporting & Communication: Provide daily status reports and updates to stakeholders regarding testing progress and potential risks.
Process Optimization: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
Testing Deliverables Management: Ensure timely completion and delivery of all testing phases, including SIT and UAT.
Requirements:
University Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is required.
Experience with SIT Tests, UAT Test, Regression Test, Operational Readiness Test, Non-functional test (Performance test /Load test).
Experience with tools like JIRA (including plugins like Xray or Zephyr), Confluence, SharePoint.
Exposure to finance for at least 3 years is a must; exposure to life insurance industry is a plus.
Minimum 5-8 years of software testing lead role or software testing management experience.
Certified Scrum Master or PMP is a plus.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Knowledge about various automation tools would be a plus.
Experience in managing a team.
