Job description

Quality Engineer

Location: Seletar

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary Range: SGD $3,400 – $4,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coach Quality Inspectors to ensure high performance.
• Resource Management: Organize and allocate quality control resources effectively.
• Process Oversight: Monitor, audit, and evaluate inspection processes for continuous improvement.
• Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for customer feedback, reports, and supplier quality issues.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to quality standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in quality inspection of fabrication and machined parts.
• Proven track record in a Quality Engineer or similar role.
• Background in manufacturing/engineering/machining environments.
• Proficiency in CMM programming.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T prints, assembly drawings, machining drawings, and P&IDs.
