Candidates should possess a relevant engineering degree and a minimum of five years' experience in quality assurance. Our client, in the Semiconductor Industry located in the West has opening for Quality Engineer.
7.50am to 4.55pm (Mondays - Fridays)

Responsibilities
Project Execution & Systems Management
Plan, oversee, and execute projects aligned with management objectives
Maintain and improve quality, environmental, and water efficiency management systems
Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and ISO 46001
Conduct internal QEMS/WEMS audits; coordinate with departments for external, customer, and vendor audits
Manage QEMS/WEMS documentation and serve as Document Control Center
Enforce information security across the information life cycle
Quality Monitoring & Improvement
Monitor quality failure costs, yield, and pass rates in production
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with departments and suppliers
Handle product and material quality issues, including customer feedback and disposition
Provide support on quality, environmental, and technical matters to customers
Calibration & Equipment Maintenance
Monitor calibration schedules and arrange third-party services
Perform maintenance and calibration of X-ray machines; troubleshoot and liaise with suppliers for repairs
Maintain monthly X-ray equipment reports
New Product Support
Assist in sample testing and pilot runs for new products
Continuous Improvement
Promote and support initiatives such as E-Kaizen, EMS, and water efficiency programs
Emergency Response
Participate in and execute the Emergency Response Plan as required
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or a related technical field from a recognized university
At least 5 years of experience in engineering or quality assurance
Supervisory experience is an added advantage
Experience in supplier management and product qualification preferre
Knowledge of electroplating processes is an advantage
Certified Lead/Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, IATF 16949, or ISO 46001 is a plus
Familiar with APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, and SPC; experience with Minitab or JMP is a plus
Proficient in 8D problem-solving tools (e.g., Fishbone, 5 Whys)
Strong communication skills; able to work independently
