This role is well suited to candidates who are open to joining a hands‑on, medium‑size enterprise where you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers while making a direct impact on quality initiatives across new product introductions, manufacturing processes, and supplier development.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and company quality standards.
- Manage supplier quality activities, including supplier qualification, audits, performance monitoring, and corrective actions.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through quality planning, risk assessments, validation, and production readiness activities.
- Establish and maintain inspection standards, quality control plans, and product acceptance criteria.
- Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Analyze quality data and drive process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, and manufacturing performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within precision engineering, semiconductor, CNC machining, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Experience in supplier quality management, quality assurance, NPI, and process improvement.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and quality engineering methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, CAPA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and statistical analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a willingness to work in a medium‑size enterprise where engineers have broad responsibilities, close collaboration with operations, and visible ownership of improvement initiatives.
