Job summary

• Supervisory experience is an added advantage.

Job description

Job Info:

• Salary: Basic up to $4200 + AWS + VB
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (7:50am - 4:55pm)
• Location: Joo Koon (Company transport pick up at designated location island wide)

Job Scope:

1. Project Execution & Systems Management

• Plan, manage, and execute projects in alignment with organizational objectives
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of quality, environmental, and water efficiency management systems

2. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and ISO 46001 standards
• Conduct internal audits for QEMS and WEMS, and coordinate with relevant departments for external, customer, and vendor audits
• Manage documentation for QEMS/WEMS and operate the Document Control Center
• Implement and enforce information security measures throughout the information lifecycle

3. Quality Control & Improvement

• Monitor production quality metrics, including failure costs, yield rates, and pass rates
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with internal teams and suppliers
• Address product and material quality issues, manage customer feedback, and oversee disposition processes
• Provide customers with technical, quality, and environmental support

4. Equipment Calibration & Maintenance

• Monitor calibration schedules and coordinate third-party services as needed
• Conduct maintenance and calibration of X-ray equipment, including troubleshooting and liaising with vendors for repairs
• Prepare and maintain monthly reports on X-ray equipment performance

5. Support for New Product Introduction

• Support sample testing and pilot production runs for new products

6. Process & Program Improvement

• Promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including E-Kaizen, EMS, and water efficiency programs

7. Emergency Response

• Take part in the company’s Emergency Response Plan and execute assigned responsibilities as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field from a recognized university
• At least 4 - 5 years of experience in engineering or quality assurance
• Supervisory experience is an added advantage
• Experience in supplier management and product qualification preferred
• Knowledge of electroplating processes is an advantage
• Certified Lead/Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, IATF 16949, or ISO 46001 is a plus
• Familiar with APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, and SPC; experience with Minitab or JMP is a plus
• Proficient in 8D problem-solving tools (e.g., Fishbone, 5 Whys)
