Job description

Quality Engineer (Quality Improvement & Quality System Support)

Work Location : Tampines Industrial
Work Day : Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives through Kaizen activities, line audits, and collaboration with production teams.

  • Manage ship holds and support NPIE team with documentation and system updates for new product launches.

  • Supervise inspectors and technicians for line assembly and outgoing inspections to ensure timely and quality product delivery.

  • Align customer quality requirements with internal business strategies to achieve quality objectives and KPIs.

  • Analyze and resolve quality issues, driving improvements across relevant departments.

  • Monitor and manage production issues, customer complaints, and lead internal cross-functional teams for corrective actions.

  • Provide regular reports and presentations on quality performance metrics to management and customers.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with product inspections and safety certifications.


Requirement :

  • Bachelor's degree with2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing

  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision

  • Proactive and innovative thinker with ability to provide constructive solutions

  • Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and customer audit processes

  • Familiarity with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) compliance requirements
