Job summary

Tangspac Consulting Group is seeking a QA engineer to design and execute tests within agile projects. You will develop test plans, strategies, and cases derived from business and non-functional requirements, with hands-on manual testing and defect tracking.

You will also create and maintain automation scripts, analyze results, troubleshoot bottlenecks with developers, and configure the test environment while supporting CI/CD integration using GitLab and Jenkins.

Qualifications

Expertise in Functional Testing.
Hands-on REST API testing.
Experience with test automation tool chain: Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium and Appium.
CI/CD pipelines understanding; GitLab/Jenkins preferred.
Knowledge of JIRA; Xray knowledge is a plus.
Playwright knowledge is advantageous.
Manual testing as needed, including periods where manual testing may be primary.
Experience in e-banking/payments/trading is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop test plans, strategies, and cases based on requirements.
Manual testing, including test case design, execution, defect tracking, and validation in agile environments.
Create and maintain automation test scripts.
Analyse test results, identify root causes, and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.
Troubleshoot bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams to implement fixes.
Configure the test environment, manage test data, and use testing tools.
