Your Job

As a QA Engineer, you will lead the production RCCA & RMA team, guiding debug technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving electrical and electronic issues in products and systems. You will ensure the quality of cable and PCB assemblies by implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections and testing, and collaborating with other teams to resolve issues, ensuring products meet specifications and standards.

Our Team

You will work within the Datacom and Specialty Solutions Division (DSS), collaborating with production operators, inspectors, technicians, supervisors, MQA/AQP engineers, process engineers, test engineers, operation managers, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.

What You Will Do

  • Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex electrical and electronic issues, improving production cost of poor quality.
  • Analyze circuit schematics and layouts to pinpoint the root cause of problems.
  • Develop troubleshooting and debugging guidelines for debug technicians.
  • Coordinate with the Process team to conduct end-to-end quality control audits, including in-process and final audits.
  • Develop and maintain inspection criteria and quality plans.
  • Perform Cable PCBA-level and System-level Failure Analysis (FA), covering customer returns and field failures, and prepare 8D reports for customers.
  • Conduct routine and random inspections of work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with ESD control standards.
  • Train and mentor debug technicians and QA inspectors.
  • Assist in managing measurement and inspection equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in soldering and PCB assembly industry.
  • Good knowledge of Analog and Digital Circuits.
  • Familiar with test systems, debug, and repair in PCBA.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, SPC, IPC-A-610, IPC 620, IPC-J-STD-001.
