Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Engineer to improve production quality through inspections and audits. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience with ISO/AS quality systems. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Familiar with ISO/QS/AS Quality Management system.
• Qualified internal auditor.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings (ISO, GD&T).

Responsibilities

• Liaison with customers/suppliers on production quality issues.
• Establish Quality Inspection Procedures.
• Perform internal audits to meet AS9100 & NadCap requirements.
• Analyse process capabilities (cpk) and recommend improvements.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Liaison with customer / supplier on production quality issues, drive improvements;
• Establish Quality Inspection Procedures ;
• Perform internal audits to meet AS9100 & NadCap requirements;
• Analyse process capabilities (cpk) and recommend areas of improvements;
• Perform Gage R&R, calibration of CNC and quality jigs & other instruments

Requirements

• Degree in Mechancial / Production Engineering or other educational background with min. 3 years relevant working experience;
• Familiar with ISO/ QS/ AS Quality Management system, Qualified internal auditor;
• Must be well verse in interpreting mechanical drawings (ISO, GD&T)
• Experience in Coordinte Measuremnt Machine (CMM) Programming an advantage;
• Good analytical knowledge and sense for technical details & precision
• Passion to innovate and improve, willingness to learn & adapt to challenges
• Good team player, ability to communicate well within all levels of the organization
