Key Responsibilities:
- Perform IQC, IPQC and OQC as necessary, and supplier’s sample inspections.
- Develop incoming inspection plan and setup inspection programme/method for new parts.
- Prepare outgoing documents such as Certificate of Conformance and inspection report for customer.
- Generate non-conformance and inspection report to suppliers for rejection resolution.
- Perform verification on inventory and conduct root cause analysis.
- Manage customer issues/projects to ensure on time resolution and support investigation/analysis as necessary.
- Assist in customer and certification audits. Maintenance of relevant quality procedures and records.
- Track and generate KPI analysis data for review and presentation.
- Drive internal process compliance and improvements, including Kaizen projects.
- Work with EHS committee to ensure EHS objectives are met.
- To perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Quality Department.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Quality Assurance or related field.
- Proven experience of minimum 3 year in similar field or related industry.
- Team player, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in cross-functionalteams.
- Proficient in MS Office – Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Familiarity or certified with relevant quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, etc). Certified lead or internal auditor would be preferred.
- Experience in problem solving, root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Kaizen, etc.) would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin. The role would require to liaise with factories from Mandarin speaking countries.
