Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform IQC, IPQC and OQC as necessary, and supplier’s sample inspections.
2. Develop incoming inspection plan and setup inspection programme/method for new parts.
3. Prepare outgoing documents such as Certificate of Conformance and inspection report for customer.
4. Generate non-conformance and inspection report to suppliers for rejection resolution.
5. Perform verification on inventory and conduct root cause analysis.
6. Manage customer issues/projects to ensure on time resolution and support investigation/analysis as necessary.
7. Assist in customer and certification audits. Maintenance of relevant quality procedures and records.
8. Track and generate KPI analysis data for review and presentation.
9. Drive internal process compliance and improvements, including Kaizen projects.
10. Work with EHS committee to ensure EHS objectives are met.
11. To perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Quality Department.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Quality Assurance or related field.
2. Proven experience of minimum 3 year in similar field or related industry.
3. Team player, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in cross-functionalteams.
4. Proficient in MS Office – Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
5. Familiarity or certified with relevant quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, etc). Certified lead or internal auditor would be preferred.
6. Experience in problem solving, root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Kaizen, etc.) would be advantageous.
7. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin. The role would require to liaise with factories from Mandarin speaking countries.
