Job summary

Skills

Operating or programming non-contact vision measurement systems

Knowledge in SPC, CPK, GR&R, FMEA, RCA

Ability to interpret drawings and technical documents

Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485

Education

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline

Job description

• Ensure timely response in 8D/CAR to customers' complains and claim
• Work with cross-functional groups to close 8D/CAR with effective corrective / preventive actions
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of products to ensure they conform to all specifications and procedures
• Develop and implement quality standards
• Work closely with QC to ensure implementation of quality system, rectify quality issues and initiate improvements
• Collect and analyse quality data using statistical control tools
• Provide quality monthly reports to internal/external customers
• Responsible for managing customer audits and regulatory and compliance agency audits
• Manage and maintain ISO documentation
• Prepare and present reports to Senior Management
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate superior

Job Requirement

• Know how to operate or program any non contact vision measurement system eg. Smart Scope.
• Knowledge in SPC, CPK, GR&R, FMEA, RCA topics Knowledge of any Quality Management Systems / Internal or External Auditing
• Basic understanding in ISO 9001, ISO 13485 etc. system management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to interpret drawings and technical documents
• Ability to interpret within established procedures and practices as well as exercise independent judgment in complex situations
• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline
• Min 2 yr experience in precision engineering manufacturing fields
