Job summary

A leading chemical company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to ensure quality standards in lab samples. Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Higher NITEC in Chemical Technology with more years of experience may be considered.
  • Able to perform overtime work as and when required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control test of production samples prior to final packaging and delivery.
  • Perform data entry of quality control results according to SOP.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing and measuring equipment.
  • Provide support in product development work.
  • Handle routine laboratory maintenance and administrative tasks.
  • Attend Risk Assessment review meetings.

Job description

For: Prime Evolue Singapore Pte. Ltd.

Reporting to Executive, Quality Control, this position will perform analysis and documentation of lab samples results, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, and upkeep safe work laboratories according to requirements of Company’s quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control test of production samples prior to final packaging and delivery

  • Perform data entry of quality control results according to Standard Operating Procedures and ensure proper documentation of laboratory work and quality control records

  • Maintain and calibrate testing and measuring equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition

  • Provide support in product development work and preparation of product samples for external testing and upon request of Sales & Marketing Division

  • Handle routine laboratory maintenance and administrative tasks including safety, housekeeping as well as maintaining, recording and replenishing laboratory chemicals and materials inventory regularly

  • Attend Risk Assessment review meetings and participate in 5S projects

Requirements

  • Diploma in Applied Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science or Chemical-related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience preferred

  • Higher NITEC in Chemical Technology with more years of experience may be considered

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Independent, resourceful and self-motivated

  • Effective team player with good communication and presentation skills

  • Able to perform overtime work as and when required

  • Willing to work on Jurong Island
