Job summary

A renowned company is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Support in Singapore for a 12-month contract. The role involves assisting with laboratory operations, conducting sample testing, and maintaining strict compliance with GMP and GLP guidelines. Candidates should have relevant qualifications in Food Science or Microbiology and a minimum of 3 years of experience within a laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Food Science or Microbiology.
• At least 3 years work experience in a relevant field required.
• Experience with SAP and LIMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Raw Material, In-Process and Finished Goods Laboratory operations.
• Provide accurate sample testing support according to company's criteria.
• Ensure all instrumentation used is validated and calibrated.

Job description

This is a 12-months contract role.

This role requires supporting Quality Control requirements for finished goods as part of the QC team. Specific responsibilities can be expected to rotate between the finished goods and raw materials laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting Raw Material, In-Process and Finished Goods Laboratory operations in accordance to documented testing methodology. (Sample receiving to preparation and testing, panel sample preparation, sample sending process)

• Provide accurate sample testing support in accordance with Company's accept/reject criteria.

• Ensure all instrumentation used in product testing are validated and calibrated to standard before use.

• Ensure all laboratory records are kept in accordance with Company's protocol.

• Support on data / trend analysis when required.

• Adhere to PepsiCo GMP, GLP, Health and Safety requirements.

• Ad hoc duties or projects as assigned by Lab supervisor.

Skills / Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or Equivalent.

• Computer literate

• At least 3 years work experience in a relevant field.

• System and operational knowledge – Laboratory work Experience, SAP, LIMS systems and troubleshooting experience is an added advantage.

• An understanding of GMP/GLP and other key manufacturing processes

• Ability to planning, manage priorities and deliver results to meet internal customer requirements.

• Experience in building excellent working relationships with operations team members

• Good Communication Skills across all levels in an organization.

• Good Attention to detail

• Self-starter, proactive in delivering results and a good organizer
