Almac Group in Singapore invites applications for a 6-month Quality Control internship within our clinical services operations. You will participate in incoming goods sampling, inspections, and production QA tasks under supervision.

The internship offers exposure to cGMP compliance, documentation checks, and cross-functional meetings; the office is at Changi Business Park with shuttle services to various parts of Singapore; paid time off during the internship, and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Academic background in lifescience, or related studies, preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to demonstrate logical problem-solving
Able to work consistently to a high standard under pressure
Detail-oriented

Responsibilities

To check documentation for completeness and accuracy
To identify deviations from procedures and inform Quality Control Supervisor
To attend meetings and assist with miscellaneous tasks
To perform duties under Quality Control supervision
To perform incoming goods sampling and inspection
To ensure customer requirements are met during booking-in
To ensure ACS adherence to cGMPs, SOPs and customer instructions
To assist destruction inspection duties when required
To inspect Clinical Labels prior to issuance to packaging operations and distribution
To perform verification checks on documentation and clinical material prior to distribution
To perform in-process quality checks on products, processes, and facility
To review logbooks and perform facility inspection

Description

Almac Clinical Services designs and delivers bespoke packaging and logistical solutions for pharmaceutical companies conducting small or large clinical trials for the treatment of a range of diseases and illnesses. We ensure that a supply of clinical material is delivered across the globe to meet the needs of those patients enrolled in a trial, helping to improve patient lives daily.

Overall Role Objectives:

To perform Quality Control (QC) functions within the Material Receiving, Label Control, Distribution and Production areas in order to assure material and products are sampled and released in compliance with agreed specifications and timelines.

Responsibilities:

General Duties:

To check documentation for completeness and accuracy.
To Identify any deviations from written procedures and inform Quality Control Supervisor.
To attend meetings and assist with miscellaneous tasks when required.
To perform duties under Quality Control personnel supervision.

Quality Control functions within Material Receiving:

To perform incoming goods sampling and inspection.
To ensure any customer specific requirements have been carried out by Logistics during booking-in.
To ensure Almac Clinical Services (ACS) adherence to cGMPs, SOPs and customer instructions through
performance of job function.
To assist destruction inspection duties, when required.

Quality Control functions within Label Control and Distribution:

To inspect Clinical Labels prior to issuance to packaging operations, distribution and direct dispatch from
ACS.
To perform verification checks on documentation and clinical material prior to distribution from ACS.
Quality Control functions within Production:
To perform regular in-process quality checks on products, processes, room layout and safety to ensure compliance with GMP and ACS procedures.
To review logbooks and perform facility inspection.

Criteria:

Academic background in lifescience, or related studies, preferred
