Job summary

You will perform dimensional inspections, product quality checks, bake tests, and label verification, while maintaining accurate QC records and reporting trends to management.

Job description

The QC Inspector is responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the production process, ensuring all items meet specified dimensional, structural, and labeling standards before release.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dimensional Inspection

• Measure and monitor product specifications (length, width, height) against approved standards


• Record measurements and flag deviations from spec


• Report out-of-tolerance items to supervisor immediately

2. Product Quality Checks

• Inspect products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies


• Verify products meet visual and functional quality standards


• Segregate non-conforming items for rework or disposal

3. Bake Testin

• Conduct bake tests on products per established procedures


• Monitor time, temperature, and results during testing


• Document bake test outcomes and elevate failures

4. Label Verification

• Check product labels for accuracy (content, placement, print quality, expiry/batch codes, etc.)


• Ensure labels comply with company and regulatory requirements


• Record label check results

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate, timely QC records/logs for all inspections and tests


• Prepare daily/shift quality reports


• Report on recurring issues or trends to management

6. Other Duties

• Perform additional QC or related tasks assigned by supervisor/management
