Quality Control Engineer (QC Engineer) Responsibilities & Duties

1. Conduct regular quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations.
2. Design and implement quality control processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
3. Develop and maintain quality control documentation and records.
4. Lead root cause analysis efforts for quality defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
6. Provide training and support to team members on quality control processes and procedures.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure that our processes are in compliance with relevant standards.

Quality Control Engineer (QC Engineer) Qualifications & Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Experience with quality management systems like ISO 9001.
3. Proficiency in statistical analysis software.
4. Strong knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Prior experience in a similar role (minimum 3 years).
7. Familiarity with industry-specific compliance standards.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
9. Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools, such as Six Sigma and ISO 9001.
10. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
11. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
13. Experience in analyzing quality data and conducting root cause analysis.
14. Ability to develop and implement quality standards and procedures.
15. Experience in evaluating and qualifying suppliers and materials.
16. Ability to handle projects related to quality control and safety.
17. Proficiency in preparing reports on quality data and analysis for management review.
18. Experience reviewing technicians’ records and ensuring data accuracy.
19. Strong collaboration skills with various departments.
