  • Conduct day-to-day inspection of in-process and finished products.
  • Ensure hygiene standards are maintained across processes.
  • Report non-conformance and assist in corrective actions.

Job Description
  • Position: Quality Control Assistant (Food Manufacturing)
  • Well Established Singapore Based Frozen Seafood Processing SME
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:30pm); Saturday (8am - 12pm)
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $2,500 + OT + Variable Bonus (At Least 1 Month)
  • Working Location: Jurong
  • Employee Meals Provided
  • Outpatient Medical & Dental Insurance Provided
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Industry: Frozen Seafood Manufacturing Production

Main Responsibilities:
  • In charge of day-to-day inspection of in-process and finished products.
  • Ensure hygiene standard of process workers and processing facilities are maintained.
  • Responsible for reporting any non-conformance of products/process/ hygiene violation in a timely manner.
  • Assist in guiding production leaders/operators in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement in production area.
  • Ensure proper records of product and hygiene inspections.
  • Implementation / maintenance of SFA, MSC/ASC, Halal, FSSC 22000, HACCP certifications and any other relevant certification.
  • To liaise with authorities (eg, SFA) on related Food Safety / License issues when required.
  • In charge of health certificate application and laboratory reports arrangement and maintenance of such records.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Food Science / Microbiology.
  • At least 1 year experience as QA/QC in Food Manufacturing industry.
  • Understanding of FSSC 22000/ HACCP/GMP/ Halal requirements is advantageous.
